Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of drama. At age 16 she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense training in singing. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a student, and being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. When she moved in America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
